God Brought His People Home (Ezra 1-3)
Hey parents! This week we learned of the story of God’s people returning home after 70 years in exile. Just as He promised, God made a way for His people to return to Jerusalem and provided everything they needed to begin rebuilding. But before rebuilding the temple, the Israelites rebuilt the altar and restored their worship of God. Their story reminds us that God is faithful to His promises and true restoration begins with Him. As you discuss with your kids, help them see that we were created to worship and glorify God, and that through Jesus, we can be restored to a right relationship with Him.
